Oh the places you'll go
Back On My FeetI am so happy to have gotten over a week's worth of a horrible flu. Bed ridden, I had to stay in quite a bit due to the on and off rain plus my condition. To be honest, I didn't get to do much and very crunched on time because I was leaving for Munich. And let's not forget, I totally was lost. I think I was so tired and didn't function properly, that I ended up thinking I was where I was suppose to be when in fact I was still far from my destination. Berlin central station is completely different from the Berlin central BUS station. Great job me, you totally knew what you were doing. From first living like a local to observing every little thing like a local, you pick up on a lot of things. What I noticed the most? SmokE.Smoke was everywhere. My god lol, I swear I would've died from all the second hand smoking I was doing. Every corner, every stop, every crack in every crevice, you could find someone smoking cigarettes no matter what. It just made my headaches and asthma / condition worse.... Cross the street proved to be the next bit of a challenge. I think for the five seconds you start crossing the street, you barely reach the other side. That's why many had a little wait area in between. But maybe it was only me, because then again Berlin was exactly like New York. Fast paced. Haven't exactly been living like one in California, so you know, I was casually strolling LOL. Sigh. That amazing moment when you realize you're crossing the Spree River. These were only things I've read in my history class textbooks and watched on WWII films. The experience is definitely worth the pain and being tired all the time. It's amazing to be able to see and live in another country. Great wifi = MORE BLOGGINGTchüss!
